Housekeeper / Room Attendant

Holiday Inn Express

Job Summary:

The Housekeeper / Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining clean, comfortable, and welcoming guest rooms and hotel areas. This position requires attention to detail, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to providing excellent guest service.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and prepare guest rooms according to hotel standards.
Make beds and replace sheets, pillowcases, and other linens.
Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, showers, sinks, and floors.
Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, and mop floors.
Remove trash and replace liners.
Restock towels, toiletries, coffee supplies, and other guest amenities.
Report maintenance problems, damaged items, and safety concerns.
Properly handle lost-and-found items according to hotel procedures.
Maintain housekeeping carts, equipment, and supply areas in an organized manner.
Respect guest privacy and provide courteous, professional service.
Follow hotel sanitation, safety, and cleaning procedures.
Assist other housekeeping team members when necessary.

Qualifications:

Previous hotel housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
Strong attention to cleanliness and detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Dependable and punctual.
Ability to perform physical duties such as standing, bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling throughout the shift.
Availability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.
